Design and study of in vivo bone formation characteristics of biodegradable bioceramic

2021
Abstract In this paper, two groups of titanium alloy and biodegradable ceramic scaffolds with the same pore structure were designed, and the cell proliferation and bone tissue growth of the two groups were studied by cell proliferation experiment and animal experiment. The results show that the biological properties of biodegradable ceramic scaffolds are obviously better than those of titanium alloy scaffolds. The cell proliferation experiment in vitro showed that with the passage of time, the number of cell proliferation and the activity of ALP in biodegradable ceramic scaffolds were higher than those in titanium alloy scaffolds. The results of animal implantation experiments show that the amount of bone tissue in the ceramic scaffold is several times than that of titanium alloy in the same implantation time, indicating that the ceramic scaffold has great research and application potential in the field of bone tissue engineering.
