PROPIEDADES PSICOMÉTRICAS DE LA ESCALA DE SECUELAS PSICOLÓGICAS DE LAS INUNDACIONES Psychometric properties of the Psychological Consequences of Flood Scale Óscar Armando Esparza Del Villar

This study analyzed the psychometric properties of the Psychological Consequences of Flood Scale in 392 people affected by floods in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. An exploratory factor analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis were done to confirm the factor structure. Convergent validity was assessed by correlating the factors of the scale with validated scales. The factor structure of the scale was composed of two factors which were representative of symptoms of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
