The invention discloses a method for performing curtain grouting construction on a tunnel by a water rich fault influence zone. The method comprises the following steps of: a, constructing a wall for grouting, namely constructing the wall for grouting in a tunnel face, wherein a gap of 2 to 5m is reserved on the wall for grouting and the tunnel face in the radial direction; b, backfilling between the wall for grouting and the tunnel face; and c, marking drilling positions and hole numbers on the wall for grouting. By combining a mode of constructing the wall for grouting on the tunnel face, and a segmentation advancing curtain grouting mode, possibility of sudden water gushing can be reduced; a construction scheme is more safe and reliable; and the method is short in construction period, and low in cost, and is particularly suitable for curtain grouting construction for preventing gushing water under tufflava geological conditions, and provides enough operation space for grouting and drilling equipment.
