A Palaeohydrological record of Younger Dryas from lake Onoz in Jura, France

1994
A detailed palaeohydrological record of the Younger Dryas is reconstructed from a palynological and sedimentological investigation of a lacustrine sequence at lake Onoz in Jura (France). After a first wet part, this cool period is characterized by an increasing dryness; a short rise in lake level developed during its last part. Moreover, the Younger Dryas is preceded and followed by two short transgressive phases, which interrupted the regressions developing during the AllerOd and the Preboreal
