Decentralized Voting Application Using Blockchain

Blockchain is the latest emerging technology of the future. In this paper, there has been an attempt to present a model of an electronic voting system using blockchain. This proposed system is built using the local blockchain. The concept proposed can be further expanded to build it on a higher level. E-voting system can be used to conduct secure and efficient elections for a large population with minimal efforts. Blockchain concept guarantees the security and protection of the voters’ identity and the votes. This will help in building the trust in the electoral system.
