A New Synthesis of Methyl 7H-Dibenz[b,g]oxocin-6-carboxylates from Morita-Baylis-HillmanAdducts of 2-Phenoxybenzaldehydes

A new synthetic method for methyl 7 H-dibenz[ B, G]oxocin-6-carboxylatesby Friedel-Crafts reaction of readily available bromidesof Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts with aluminumchloride has been developed.
