Carbonyl iron decomposition method capable of controlling oxygen content in iron powder

2014
A carbonyl iron decomposition method capable of controlling oxygen content in iron powder relates to the improvement of an iron powder preparation method using carbonyl iron decomposition. The carbonyl iron decomposition method capable of controlling the oxygen content in the iron powder is characterized in that temperature of each section in a carbonyl iron decomposer is controlled at 200-350 DEG C, and the retention time of generated carbonyl iron powder in the decomposer is controlled within 1-3 min. The carbonyl iron decomposition method capable of controlling the oxygen content in the iron powder has the advantages that through controlling the different temperature of each section in the carbonyl iron decomposition equipment decomposer, the oxygen content in a carbonyl iron powder generating process is reduced from the source.
