Influencing factors of hysteresis effect in landfill

The influence of hysteresis effect must be considered to describe the movement of soil water quantitatively.The numerical simulation on the layered filling and surface soil is presented under hysteresis effect.The sensitivities of model parameters are analyzed.The numerical results show that the effect of texture is significant,the smaller the soil particles,the steeper the curve.With the increase of paramater alpha,the curve moves to right,and the larger the alpha,the clearer the effect of hysteresis.Research on the hysteresis effect of landfill soil can offer theoretical foundation for the measurement of the basic parameters in the laboratory and on the site.
