Features of professional formation of the teacher in the conditions of informatization and computerization of society are analyzed. Specificity of computer training of pedagogical staff at a stage of reception of the higher professional and postdiploma education is considered. An attempt to reveal the basic elements of complete system of computer training of teachers taking into account standard, motivational, substantial component is done.
