Estrategias de cuidado para los equipos de salud

2019
The objectives of this workshop are to address the importance of health care for Health Teams, to discuss experientially and collectively about the ethics of care, and provide enabling tools for effective teamwork. To begin with, a participatory activity will be proposed consisting of drawing on a blackboard or on a poster paper, dividing it in two sides, one of them saying "ideal health worker", and on the other one "real health worker". The drawing will be constructed collectively, encouraging the majority of participants to intervene. After completion, the resonances of it will be socialized and the coordinating team will provide a synthesis of all the contributions. Thereafter, theoretical aspects projected in slides through a Power Point will be exposed in relation to the selfcare of the worker in a Health Institution. Reflections will be given by various authors, such as Isidoro Berenstein and Janine Puget (1988) who say that the continuous demands that technicians must meet in an institution of a majority of urgent nature make them feel like "firefighters" without the capacity to plan. Carmina Puig (2017) mentions the self-care and organizational care of the teams as they go through continuous situations experienced as distressing and frustrating. And precisely their interventions involve the most valuable resource to intervene in order to improve the health of users. In this regard it will be referred to authors who promote the thought of new conditions of possibility such as Georges Lapassade, Cornelio Castoriadis, Remy Hess & Felix Guattari (2011) who suggest that a professional suffers the institution but also founds it and maintains it through an instituting activity that can favor the transformation (Lang & Brand, 2015). Then a new participatory dynamic consisting of a role playing will be addressed through the following fictional situation: "At a meeting of the Health Team comes a proposal to form a group-device for users of the service based on a demand expressed by the neighborhood’s referent. In this instance coordinators are requested to plan and implement the group". In this activity different roles are assigned in the participants of the scene such as "democratic leader", "claimer", "not involved", "saboteur" and “purposeful". Reflection on such a scene will then be made available to both those who participated in it and those who observed it. The coordinating team will provide a synthesis of what has been discussed. Once this activity is completed, a new theoretical exhibition will be held to provide tools for the work of health teams. What is understood as a work team conceptualized by Sandra Romano, Gabriela Novoa, Myriam Gopar, Beatriz De Leon, Cesar Ureta & Gustavo Frontera (2007) will be defined as a process that seeks to consolidate specific contributions, identify and modify rigid thought and action schemes? It will also be sent to authors such as Eduardo Viera (2005) who make a distinction between "teamwork" and "work team". On some occasions relevant individual contributions are observed but not always as an effect of the articulation of diverse knowledge and practices, this modality constitutes a “work team”. In a “teamwork" instead a strong integration is manifested, the task is not a summation of isolated individual contributions but is perceived as a "group task", and a strong sense of belonging to the working group. Tools will also be proposed to promote effective teamwork such as maintaining the ability to amaze, respect for the theoretical-technical differences between the members, decision making by consensus, learning from experience, evaluating the results, relativizing the truth to allow operatively, tolerance to constructive criticism, patience before institutional times and processes, capacity for theoretical integration-practice and need to continuously problematize (Viera, 2005). It will also emphasize the need to position the professional in an "ethics of autonomy”, conceptualized by Jose Rebellato (1997) as one that responds to the instituting and to question the established by promoting the capacity of creator in the subjects. Finally, a collective reflection on the workshop resonances of all the partakers will be promoted.
