The total emissivities of high-temperature flames

Abstract Total emissivities of CO 2 H 2 O mixtures have been computed from the Edwards exponential wide-band mode. The emissivity has been fitted by a one-clear+three-gray gas model suitable for use in the zone method of calculating radiative heat transfer in the temperature range 2000–3000K (accuracy 2% over the range of PL variations 0.01–3.5 atm m).
