Inactivation of Coronavirus with Ultraviolet Irradiation: What? How? Why?

2020
New coronavirus-2019 (nCOVID-19) is a coronavirus with an enveloped virus and a single-stranded positive-sense ribonucleic acid (RNA) of animal origin belonging to the beta-coronavirus group. Because viruses can spread to all levels and environments, it is difficult to clear the environment. For this problem, researchers work on UV devices until reaching a safe method for clear the environment. There is currently no study to investigate UV radiation on COVID-19. But, based on review literature and the similarity of the virus to another same virus, COVID-19 are sensitive to oxygen, and UV could alter spike (S) protein and alter genomic of this virus that the inactivated of this virus.
