Study on the Myocardial Ischemia Rates of Ventricular Premature Beats from Different Original Positions

2009
Objective To study the incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beats from different original positions. Methods To examine 482 patients with ventricular premature beats using synchronism 12-leads monitoring electrocardiograms and calculate incidence of myocardial ischemia of the ventricular premature beats from different original positions. Results The incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beats from the right ventricular outflow and the left ventricular outflow were 51.83% and 50.00% respectively. The myocardial ischemia rates of ventricular premature beat from right ventricular apex and left ventricular apex were 50.88% and 73.81% respectively. The incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beat from inferior part of the right ventricle was 58.62%. The incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beat from lateral wall of the left ventricle was 70.83.%. The incidence of total myocardial ischemia of right ventricular premature beat and left ventricular beat were 52.81% and 62.57% respectively. Conclusion The incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beats was significantly increased. The incidence of total myocardial ischemia with left ventricular premature beats was higher than that of right ventricular premature beat. The highest incidence of myocardial ischemia with ventricular premature beats was that from left ventricular apex and lateral wall.
