Laser Ablation by Femtosecond Synthesized Waveforms

Laser ablation of polymethylmethacrylate by two-color synthesized waveforms show a dependence on the relative phase between the ω and 2ω beams, a manifestation of photoionization in the intermediate regime (Keldysh parameter γ ≈ 1.5).
