Glass-Bead and Agrobacterium-Mediated Genetic Transformation of Fusarium oxysporum

We have described the protocols for glass-bead and Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation for a filamentous fungus, Fusarium oxysporum. These transformation protocols are easy, rapid, efficient, and cost-effective for transformation of F. oxysporum and can be adopted for other filamentous fungi, including recalcitrant fungi. These methods provide efficient tools for functional analysis of genes over the conventional methods.
