Проблема ожирения у взрослого населения г. Красноярска (популяционное исследование)

We studied the prevalence of obesity among adults in non organized population in Krasnoyarsk. The half of the examined men (50.0%) and half of the examined women (55/3%) had body mass index (BMI) > 25. In the age older than 25 years overweight and obesity are the problems among the men as well as among the women, that is the main risk factor for accompanied diseases development. The high prevalence of overweight among patients with hypertension in the present study proves that obesity is a releaser in hypertension development.
