An Artificial Intelligence Path Planning System for Multiple Tasks Inspection on Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine

The use of co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) is widely spread throughout the manufacturing industrial. Inspite of this, generative inspection palnning for CMM, especially by using artificial intelligent (AI) technique is not well developed. This paper presents a structure of inspection planning system for a CMM, especially for multi-components inspection. This path planning system is composed of two parts, which are the basic inspection path planning part and AI inspection path planning part.
