Design of new electric machine laboratory

After 40 years, the laboratory of electric machines and drives had to be rebuilt. So it has been decided to do it from scratch. Therefore some other issues had to be taken into consideration. This paper will present approach to laboratory design regarding didactics, methodology and praxis.
