2018
Purpose: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury presents both acute and chronic consequences to injured high school athletes. Young females are especially at risk of this injury for anatomic, hormonal and mechanistic reasons. Neuromuscular training (NMT) has been shown to prevent ACL injuries among youth in both genders.
