Abnormal Fluctuations in Transmission Spectrum of Metasurface Measurement and Solution

The transmissive metasurface has important applications in many fields. So its design,fabrication and measurement have become a research hotspot in related fields. However, during the measurements in practice, it is usually found that the measured transmittance (T) suffers from abnormal fluctuations in the designed high transmittance frequency band, which are quite different from the simulation results. In this paper, we analysis the main causes of this phenomenon and presents a simple solution — the time domain gate. The results show that the proposed scheme can well solve the fluctuations caused in the measurement.
