Switching effect with memory and conducting channels in metal-polymer-metal structures

An investigation is made of the switching effect with memory in metal-polymer-metal systems. The process of conduction is attributed to the appearance of a system of ultrathin conducting channels as a result of breakdown of the polymer insulator. Properties of such systems are investigated
