Collision Performance Analysis of an Automotive Bumper Beam

Now many of the car's bumper is poorer,sex suction can make bumper collision characteristics,and in the process of collision energy absorption characteristics of in-depth study,to improve China's automobile collision safety is of great significance. It does research in a car bumper system,and practice it. It reduces the theoretical modeling automotive bumper systems,and concludes the factors that may affect the performance of the collision;at the instance of bumper system and vehicle testing requirements,it is necessary to simplify the model. HyperWorks,CAE software of preprocessor and postprocessor can be used to build the finite element model of bumper system and vehicle. PAM-CRASH,the collision analysis software,can be used to solve the finite element model as mentioned above. The result of CAE collision calculation can be evaluated.Besides,main beam section moment of inertia,which have an effect on the performance of the bumper system during the collision,are studied in subsequent research process.
