Single crystal X-ray structurally characterized palladium(II) selective fluorescence and colorimetric indicator for human breast cancer cell imaging

Abstract Condensation of rhodamine B hydrazide with 4-formylbenzonitrile generates a Pd 2+ selective probe (RDHDNB) that allows its naked eye and fluorescence recognition. Moreover, RDHDNB is useful to detect Pd 2+ in human breast cancer cells MCF7, under normal and fluorescence microscope.
