The radioprotection of Actinidia kolomikta polyphenols against organism damage by 60Co γ- rays

2016
In this paper selected Actinidia kolomikta as raw material,to investigate radiation- protective effect of Actinidia kolomikta polyphenols( AKP) by separation and purification. Male Kunming mice were divided into 6groups randomly: control group, radiation model group, leucogen tablets group, low AKP group( 50 mg / mg / kg·d),medium AKP group( 100 mg / mg / kg·d),and high AKP group( 200 mg / mg / kg·d). The interventions for AKP exposure continued for 14 consecutive days.Except contrast group, all 5 groups were irradiated by 60 Co γ- rays, the dose rate was 0.792 Gy / min,and radiation dose was 6.0 Gy. After radiation, analyze expression of antioxidant enzymes,MDA and GSH in mice. The results indicated that model mice significantly decreased in tissue SOD,CAT,GSH- Px and GSH content( p < 0.05),increased MDA content( p < 0.01),compared with control group.Middle dose group mice increased SOD activity( p < 0.05),low dose group mice CAT activity returning to normal in heart, kidney, plasma, middle dose group mice GSH- Px activity significantly increased in liver, spleen, plasma( p <0.01),different doses group mice MDA content effectively reduce in tissue( p < 0.05),middle dose group mice LDH activity returning to normal in tissue. But overall effect was not in competition with leucogen tablets. In conclusion,AKP could greatly protect the body, reduce the adverse effects of oxidative damage on organism, and to provide a scientific basis for further development and utilization.
