A VISÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NO ATENDIMENTO AO PACIENTE EM TENTATIVA DE SUICÍDIO EM UM PRONTO SOCORRO

RESUMO : O presente estudo tem por objetivo identificar a visao do enfermeiro, no atendimento ao paciente em tentativa de suicidio, em um servico de emergencia. Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, descritiva, exploratoria e de campo. O estudo foi desenvolvido no servico de Pronto Socorro de um Hospital, em um municipio do Extremo Sul de Santa Catarina. Aplicou-se entrevista semiestruturada, com dez (10) enfermeiros, os quais aceitaram participar do estudo, assinando o Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido. A analise dos resultados foi realizada atraves da categorizacao dos dados e discussao com a literatura cientifica. As principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelos enfermeiros foram relacionadas ao julgamento, preconceito, indiferenca, local inadequado para o atendimento e a falta de capacitacao frente ao atendimento do paciente em tentativa de suicidio e sua familia. Sugere-se capacitacao da equipe de enfermagem sobre a tematica, como forma de buscar a humanizacao e a qualidade da assistencia, bem como o apoio de uma equipe multidisciplinar atuante no Pronto Socorro. The view of nurses in suicide attempt patients care in the emergency room ABSTRACT: The present study aims at identifying the view of nurses in suicide attempt patients care in the emergency room. This is a field research with a qualitative-descriptive-exploratory approach. The study was carried out in the emergency room of a Hospital in a municipality in the South of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with ten (10) nurses, who have agreed to participate in the study, signing an informed consent. The analysis of the results was done through data categorization and discussion with scientific literature. The main difficulties faced by nurses were related to the judgment, prejudice, indifference, inappropriate place for caring and the lack of training to care patients in suicide attempt and their families as well. Results show the necessity of training nursing staff on the subject as a way to get nursing care humanization and quality and, also, the necessity of a multidisciplinary team support specialized in the emergency room.
