Fifteen species of Ostracode are recorded from the freshly exposed Inter-Trappean beds along the newly constructed broad gauge railway line near Viri village, SSW of Anjar town, Kachchh district. Four species are assigned to the taxa previously described from the Inter-Trappean beds of Anjar, seven species to the taxa described from Lakshmipur and one species to the taxon described from Mohagaonkala (Mohgaon-Kala), M P. The taxonomy of three species - Paracypretta bhatiai , Zonocypris spirula (in part), and Paracandona jabalpurensis earlier described from Anjar, Lakshmipur and Jabalpur respectively are revised. The first two species are described as new and the third transferred to the genus Limnocypndea Lyubimova Other species are also illustrated in the paper.
