Optimal Control Strategy of Solar Heating Systems Using a Long Term Heat Storage

Some recent researches point out the importance of optimal control theory applied to sizing and management of complex energetical systems with regard to energy saving. The principal purposes of this research are: the estimation of the energy gain expected from optimizing the control of a given gas/solar heating system using a long term heat storage in the ground. the development of a design tool for these systems able to take optimal strategies into account.
