Legal Framework of International Intermodal Transport

2008
Intermodal transport which includes several carriers is considered a traffic venture of at least two carriers from different traffic branches on one transport route. If the transport is performed through at least two different countries, then we speak of international intermodal transport. Such transport is based on the contract of transport, and it is regulated by numerous international sources of transport law. The legal framework of international transport law which regulates legal relations among legal entities in intermodal transport is subject of consideration of this paper.
