Conductive Polyaniline Nanosheets (CPANINS) for a non-enzymatic glucose sensor

2019
Abstract The emergence of non-enzymatic glucose sensing (NEGS) received massive attention in the biosensors application because of the selectivity, sensitivity and low cost. The development of NEGS using Conductive Polyaniline Nanosheets (CPANINS) by in-situ polymerization using the structure directing agent (SDA) have summarized in the present study. XRD, FTIR, UV–Visible Spectroscopy and Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) characterized the structural, optical and morphology studies of the obtained CPANINS. The CPANINS have coated on the screen-printed electrode (SPE) for the investigation of electrochemical behaviour. The CPANINS/SPE exhibited a remarkable sensitivity 2003.5 μA/mMcm 2 towards the oxidation of glucose with a broad liner range 1–1000 μM, detection limit 0.043 μM (S/N = 3) and glucose oxidation with fast response time (T response
