INTRODUCTION: the nutritional screening CIPA is positive when it fulfills one of the following parameters: Control food Intake (CI) 72 h to 50%) performed in patients hospitalized by a doctor, nurse, and nutritionist is high, minimizing subjectivity to this parameter. The CI is helpful for its use within the routine clinical practice, and particularly within the nutritional screenings, such as CIPA.
