Turbine Engine Icing and Ice Detection

A review of conditions necessary for turbine engine icing is presented along with the potential problems caused by engine icing. Methods of protecting the engine against icing are briefly presented and a method of automatic anti-ice operation is proposed.Copyright © 1972 by ASME
