ÜNİVERSİTE KAMPÜS YERLEŞKELERİNDE ORTAK KULLANIM MEKÂNLARININ İNCELENMESİ: SELÇUK ÜNİVERSİTESİ ALEADDİN KEYKUBAT KAMPÜSÜ ÖRNEĞİ

OZET: Bu calisma universite kampuslerinin gelisim surecini, yerlesim sistemlerini ve gunumuzde universitelerin en gerekli fiziksel elemanlarindan birisi olan ancak bircok universitede eksikligi gorulen universitedeki tum kurumlarin personeli ile ogrencilerin bir araya gelip fikir alisverisinde bulunacaklari ortak kullanim mekânlarinin planlama kriterlerini ele alarak, yasanilan cevrenin iyilestirilmesi amaciyla secilen orneklem alani olan Selcuk Universitesi Alâeddin Keykubat kampusunun ortak kullanim mekânlarini degerlendirilmeyi ve kampusun fiziksel gelisimine katkida bulunabilecek sonuclar ortaya koymayi amaclamaktadir. Calismanin birinci bolumu universite kavraminin ve universitelerde kampus kavraminin tanimlanmasina ayrilmistir. Ikinci bolumde, universite kampusleri yerlesim sistemleri ve ortak kullanim mekânlari ele alinmistir. Calismanin ucuncu bolumunde, orneklem alani olarak secilen Selcuk Universitesi Alâeddin Keykubat Kampusu incelenerek ortak kullanim mekânlari aciklanan planlama kriterlerine gore degerlendirilmistir. Degerlendirme bolumunde elde edilen sonuclara gore yaygin tip yerlesim sistemine gore tasarlanan Alâeddin Keykubat Kampusu'nde egitim ve temel ihtiyaclara yonelik ortak kullanim mekânlari genel olarak olumlu olarak degerlendirilmistir. Ancak rekreasyonel amacli ortak kullanim mekânlarinin planlanmalarinda yerlesim sisteminin de ozelliklerine bagli olarak konum, yil boyu kullanim ve kampus yerleskesi icindeki dagilimi ile ilgili olumsuz noktalar tespit edilmistir. Gelecekte kampusun gelisimine katkida bulunmasi amaciyla yapilacak oneriler kampus icinde farkli noktalarda rekreasyonel alanlarin tasarlanmasi ve bu alanlarin yil boyu kullanim sartlarinin saglanmasi noktasinda olacaktir. ABSTRACT: This study aimed to examine development period of university campuses, settlement systems and the planning criteria of the spaces for common use where the people in the campus will come together and share ideas and the deficiency of which is observed in existing campuses, evaluate the spaces for common use in the Selcuk University Alâeddin Keykubat Campus and expose results to contribute the physical development of the campus. The identification of the university concept and campus concept in universities were examined in the first part pf the study. The university campuses settlement systems and spaces for common use were researched. At the end of the study, the sample area Selcuk University Alâeddin Keykubat Campus was examined and the spaces for common use were evaluated according to the planning criteria. According to the results of the evaluation chapter, the spaces for common use of educational and basic needs were generally evaluated as favorable in the Alâeddin Keykubat Campus which was designed according to the scattered type settlement system. However there were some negative points
