Public branding discourse is a container commonly used by candidates for campaigning, either through print media such as newspapers or through online media. This study aims to describe the form of commissive speech acts and implicatures in the public branding discourse of candidacy Governor and Vice Governor of Central Java Province 2018. This type research is qualitative descriptive research. The data source of this research is public branding discourse which includes banners, billboards, campaign activities, news, and social media. Technique data collection using interview techniques, observation, and library methods research (library studies). Technique of data analysis of this research use padan pragmatic. The results of this study indicate that in the public branding discourse the nomination of Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Java Province 2018 contains implicatures and commissive speech acts. The implicatur form includes conventional implicatures and conversation. Commissive speech acts include commissive speech acts promise, intend, and offer
