Weed management by small-scale irrigation farmers - the story of Zanyokwe : technical paper

The poor performance of small-scale irrigation schemes in South Africa has been attributed to a number of factors including poor farmer institutions (weak farmer organisations for scheme management and lack of stable markets) and technical (poor state of irrigation infrastructure, poor water management within the scheme, low level of cropping intensity and low levels of productivity of major crops).
