A nominal model of the sensor for a leak-free normal state is recorded in the absence of rain over a reference period including a nighttime range between T00: 00 and T06: 00 local time. At least one infiltration / exfiltration indicator representative of abnormal infiltration / exfiltration flows is developed by comparing signals delivered by the flow sensor and the nominal model in the night range.
