Polarization-insensitive wavelength conversion of real-time coherent 100G channel by signal translation across C-band

We demonstrated a polarization-insensitive, ultra-wide range wavelength converter by cascading an integrated coherent receiver with a DP-IQ modulator. Conversion of a real-time 100G channel was done at ROADM node with error-free operation after 1,068-km transmission.
