The Impact on Children in an Overmedicated Society

Due to the complexities of the impact on children in an overmedicated society, the main focus was placed on three particular areas of concern:(1) substance abuse, especially alcohol and cigarette smoking;(2) food substances, nutritious and non-nutritious (e.g., enhancers, extenders, coloring); and (3) medicinal agents, prescribed and non-prescribed.
