We consider the current problems of implantation of support rings for the correction of hemodynamic disturbances at the level of the atrio-ventricular valves of the heart, as a result of connective tissue dysplasia. The research on the implantation of support rings, fulfilled on animals and humans, as well as clinical studies with the level of evidence 3b, 2b, 1b have been presented.
