A utilização inadequada do solo e seus impactos na degradação das áreas

2021
The exploration and degradation of Brazilian soils began in 1531, having as its starting point the completion of the process of Portuguese colonization, when Martin Afonso de Sousa, the first grantee of the hereditary captaincy of Sao Vicente, disembarked here. Given the importance of combating desertification, restoring degraded land and soil, including land affected by droughts and floods, and striving to achieve a neutral world in terms of soil degradation so important for food production, we sought through This work contributes to the knowledge of the causes and consequences of inadequate land use practices, which leads to the emergence of degraded areas and to point out solutions. For this, a survey of the literature review type was carried out in various sources, electronic media, and printed magazines, websites and specialized periodicals such as academic google, Scielo and Capes, in order to investigate the importance of techniques to combat degradation of soils as an effective way to fight hunger and guarantee food security and promote sustainability. It was verified that the levels of environmental degradation should be identified and classified, knowing the main causes of degradation caused by inadequate land use and, in possession of this information, apply the most appropriate techniques for recovering degraded areas according to the presented severity.
