Reproductive health condition of women at childbearing age in Pingyuan county.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence of gynecological diseases and breast diseases among women at child bearing age who work in government offices and institutions in Pingyuan county.Methods:A total of 3 210 women at childbearing age underwent routine gynecological examination,infrared ray detection of the breast,and color B ultrasound examination to investigate the prevalence of reproductive tract infection,breast diseases and uterine attachment diseases.Results:Of the 3210 women,2 519(78.47%)were confirmed as sick,including reproductive tract infections in 2164 cases(67.41%),of which 44.50% was chronic cervicitis;breast disease in 1158 cases(36.07%),of which 64.85% was breast hyperplasia;uterus annexitis in 382 cases(11.90%),of which 42.15% were chronic pelvic inflammatory diseases.Prevalence of reproductive disease was the lowest among those under 30 years of age,while the highest among those between 31 and 50 years old.Conclusions:It′s necessary for women atchildbearing age to get regular physical examination and health care education for the prevention,early diagnosis and early treatment of reproductive diseases,thus to decrease the morbidity and improve their own life quality.
