Physics Of Undoped And Doped C-60 Fullerene

This paper contains a review of the physical properties of the undoped and alkali-doped C 60 materials, including their crystal structure, electronic, optical and vibrational properties and the effect of pressure on the crystal and electronic structure. The mechanisms of superconductivity in alkali-doped C 60 in terms of phonon mediated electron pairing vis-a-vis electronic interaction effects are discussed.
