Das Orang-Utan-Haus im Tierpark Hagenbeck in Hamburg

Der Tierpark Hagenbeck in Hamburg ist im Jahr 2004 mit dem Orang-Utan-Haus um eine weitere Attraktion reicher geworden. Kennzeichnend fur die Konstruktion ist die zu offnende Kuppel mit einem Durchmesser von 32 m, die aus Hohlprofilen besteht. Etwa 1/3 der Kuppel ist auf einem Schienensystem verfahrbar. Die Anlage last sich somit als Innen- und Ausengehege nutzen. Die Gebaudehulle wird aus ETFE-Folienkissen gebildet. The Orangutan house in the Tierpark Hagenbeck in Hamburg. Characteristic of its construction is the open-up dome with a diameter of 32 metres made of hollow sections. About one third of the dome can be moved on a rail system. This construction allows use as either indoor or open-air enclosure. The frame of the building is made of ETFE-foil cushions.
