Isolation and Identification of an A.eromonas from a Shrimp Pond in Quanzhou Bay

Large-scale explosive diseases of the shrimp take place frequently in Quanzhou bay in recent years,and A.eromonas is one of the main pathogens of marine animal.A single bacterium was isolated from an old shrimp pond,using the selective medium RYAN.The bacterium was identified to be A.eromonas by observing its appearance,dyeing status and characteristics of growth and biochemistry.It was confirmed to be a pathogen through the artificial injection experiment on sea eel.
