Generalised search for hadronic decays of Higgs bosons with the DELPHIdetector at LEP-2

Hadronic decays of Higgs bosons, not necessarily into b-quarks, have been searched for with the DELPHI experiment, using data collected at LEP-2. Such searches are complementary to the usual standard model Higgs searches and lead to more model-independence. Preliminary results are presented both for the hZ and hA production mechanisms, using the q qq q, q q and q ql + l (l = ; e) channels.
