Summary In the recent years in Omsk region the increase of frequency of diabetes mellitus, especially type 2 among all population is recorded. Compared with 2002 year in 2011 the new diabetes cases registration 38,4% increased (from 25336 till 42757 patients). The majority of patients have type 2 of the disease (40082 patients), the 2660 – type 1 and the rest 15 have other types of the disease. Today in Omsk region the 95% of the patients with type 1, 55% with insulin required type 2 and 20% with insulin non depended patients with diabetes, provided with the personal glucometers. The use of personified medical supply of patients with special drugs and disease control supplements can provide significant decrease of severe complications frequency formation and increase in compensation of diabetes. In the patients with type 2 of the disease coma formation for 10 years period three times decreased (р<0,001), 35,6% decrease of diabetic retinopathy was also noted, myocardial infarction 4,8% decreased and diabetic nephropathy almost 2 times decreased.
