Influence of Erosion of Beach in Front of Seawalls on Landslide Stability

Under the background of land reclamation project in Shanghai chemical industry district,the seepage fields of seawalls at tidal level dropping are calculated here.According to the different degrees of erosion of the beach,the numerical calculation and analysis are made about the stability of seawalls.Through the numerical calculation,the relationship and rule of the landslide stability and erosion degrees of the beach at high tide level and tidal level dropping in this land reclamation project are obtained, at the same time,a conclusion is achieved that the suitable width of beach protection should be 9 m.
