Manipulação e Análise de Padrões Fractais no Processo de Generalização de Conteúdos Matemáticos por meio do Software

In this paper, we discuss the role of the GeoGebra software when studying Fractal Patterns. For this purpose, we analyze an activity performed with high school students, according to an approach named Stages of an Investigation of Pattern. The qualitative research was employed in order to understand the role of the GeoGebra in the development of the activity regarding to manipulation and analysis of Fractal Patterns. The data collected indicated that GeoGebra allows manipulation and analysis of multiple levels of the same Fractal Patterns in a single construction and the revision of the steps of the constructions. Thus, it is possible to conclude that GeoGebra contributed to Fractal Patterns come alive, to become dynamic, favoring the generalization of the mathematical content explored.
