Occupational Exposure Limits in France

1990
A scientific committee gathers experts, personnally appointed by the French Ministry of Labour, and administration representatives. This group critically reviews published data (industrial experience, experimental toxicological data, physicochemical properties, sampling and analysis capabilities, exposure/response relationship), discusses possibilities (taking technical possibilities and socio-economical demands into account), and selects a value for proposition to the “Conseil Superieur de la Prevention des Risques Professionnels” (High Committee for Occupational Health Hazards Prevention).
