The Women Autonomy in Rural Pakistan

Globally, women have been suppressed on various socio-cultural, religious and economic grounds and even on a regional basis. It is, therefore, important to know and assess the micro and macro determinants of women's autonomy particularly in the rural setting. The research would further provide in-depth analysis of various socio-political, cultural, economic, regional and religious factors impediment to women empowerment and autonomy in rural Pakistan and suggesting policy recommendation for future gender centered policies and programs.
