INTERPRETACIÓN DEL ANÁLISIS DE SUELOS CAÑEROS BASADO EN LAS RELACIONES ENTRE PROPIEDADES Y ELEMENTOS

2017
Sugar cane (Saccharum spp.) is one of the most important crops in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Its relevance is economic, social and cultural in the regions where it is grown, and it is considered an agroecosystem that tends to reduce the fertility of the soils due to agronomic management. Management programs and for soil improvement are based on a diagnosis of fertility through the physical, chemical and biological laboratory analysis, for which the bases and tools for the interpretation of studies carried out are necessary. A group of soil samples was analyzed from the sugar factory, Presidente Benito Juarez, in Tabasco, Mexico; which were interpreted through a new alternative based on the relations between elements and properties. In this proposal the use of the relation between organic matter (OM) and the mineral fraction made up of clay+loam stood out, which was more sensitive to detect problems with the OM in the soils.
